Family Fun Night is just around the corner! Our annual indoor carnival fundraiser has been scheduled for Friday, March 10, 2023. Currently, we are collecting new or pre-loved stuffed toys to be used as prizes that evening. Please send your clean “stuffies” to the school at your earliest convenience. “For everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” Romans 10:13
During the weekly Elementary Chapel, we are spending each month focusing on a different Scripture. This month, we have been talking about Romans 10:13 and what it means to be saved. Because of God’s great love for each one of us, He sent His Son Jesus to be our Savior…forgiving our sins and giving us the hope of Heaven! What an amazing gift we have been given!
P.S. The picture is from chapel this week. We did a little paper tearing and created the cross. 🙂
It is time again for our annual School Work Days. On Friday, August 5, from 4:00-8:00pm, and Saturday, August 6, from 8:00am-12:00noon, volunteers are needed to help get both the Elementary and Middle School/High School campuses ready for the start of the new school year. From cleaning to landscaping, there are jobs for everyone. Please note, if you are planning to help at the Middle School/High School campus, we ask that you park at the Elementary and walk the path to the MS/HS. Paving is scheduled to begin this next week! Yay!
Additional opportunity–Also on Friday, August 5, from 8:00am-4:00pm, we will begin the installation of the new Elementary playground, specifically the natural play area and pea gravel pit. If you would like to also help with this project, please contact Mrs. Worrell via email at cworrell@fcsfalcons.com or call the school office at 815.652,4806.
Make plans now to attend one of the work days…great things are accomplished when we work together! 🙂
