Your assignment: Join my class and run through a “learn” of 1.7.
Take note of how these questions are like yours or different.
- Read and take notes on section 1.7
- Make 3 test questions on a separate sheet of paper.
- Choose one of the verses from 1 Peter 1:1-9 (7th hour) or Revelation 1:1-8 (9th hour.)
- Write it down
- Write why you chose that verse/reflect on the verse Use the study Bible commentary, cross-references, articles that help you draw out the meaning of the scripture.
There are 5 subsections to section 7, so your notes should have the main section title and five subsection titles, with some summary notes under each of the subsection titles in your notes.
Due Monday,
- 1/3rd of your Dialogue Heavy Story (3 pages)
Remember,
- The End goal is an 8-page minimum story.
- There must be at least three conversations with tension or arguments (see Chapter 5 in dazzling dialogue.)
- You already have your main character and central conflict figured out, so
get this 1/3rd done by Monday!

- A paragraph describing the character as if your readers meet them in your novel for the first time; Descriptions; Background.
- The character speaks (voice journal) for the rest of the page. It could be about anything. They could be giving an introductory speech or arguing with someone. Be creative.
Complete your speech outline by Tuesday, and be ready to give your speech.

To see a transcript of a sample speech, look in your book, pages 57-58.
- Read through one of your previously turned-in assignments and highlight three sentences written in the passive voice.
- Rewrite those three sentences into the active voice.
- Turn it in!
