Mrs. Worrell was born in Paducah, Kentucky, and spent her growing up years as a pastor’s kid (PK) in Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas and Michigan. She graduated from Mid-America Christian University in Oklahoma City in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Music and Bible. Before coming to Faith in 2011, Carrie taught K-8th Music in the Yazoo County, Mississippi school district. She also has experience in teaching PreK-4 children. Before accepting the position as Preschool/Elementary Principal, Mrs. Worrell taught Kindergarten, 7th-12th grade Choir, and co-directed the annual Spring Musical at Faith.
Carrie married Mike Worrell in 1996, and they have been in ministry together ever since–serving as pastors to local congregations in Missouri, Mississippi and Illinois. They have three daughters, two are graduates of FCS and the youngest is currently a student at Faith. In her free time, Mrs. Worrell loves spending time with her family…it really is her happy place! She also enjoys leading worship for her local church, cooking and completing DIY home improvement projects.
I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who believe in him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. Ephesians 1:9
