Michelle Marx was born in South Dakota and raised primarily in Wisconsin. After earning her degree and teaching in public and private schools for some years, she answered the call to full-time ministry as Pastor of Worship Arts for nearly two decades. Teaching students and adults has always been a part of her life in one aspect or another, whether private music lessons, arts in the community, coaching actors, directing theater, or developing budding musicians.
Mrs. Marx is passionate about nurturing and mentoring the next generation of artists—all to cultivate the gifts God has planted within them and to glorify God with their lives on and off the stage. She’s excited about working with FCS students and watching them grow in skill and confidence. Nothing makes her more proud than seeing students flourish and celebrating how far they’ve come in developing their craft.
When not at school, Mrs. Marx is busy writing professionally and operating her own freelance digital communications business. Spending time with her husband and three grown sons is her favorite. She’s also passionate about traveling, anything outdoors, losing herself in a great book, and sampling the local cuisine wherever she roams.
But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread Your protection over them, that all who love Your name may be filled with joy. For You bless the godly, O Lord; You surround them with Your shield of love. Psalm 5:11-12
