Alan Harrison, originally from Texas, has called ten different states home. He has degrees from Wheaton College (Christian Education) and Central Missouri University (TESOL—Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). Before coming to Faith in 1999, he taught outdoor education classes for several years at Camp Timberlee in Wisconsin.
Mr. Harrison and his wife Dawn married in 1996 and have raised their five children in Dixon; they have all attended FCS. He enjoys camping and other outdoor activities and is also involved in “living history” where he teaches and demonstrates Native American life-skills, tools, and weapons. At Christmas he portrays Santa Claus, a dream he has had for many years.
“No, O people, the LORD has told you what is good, and this is what he requires of you: to do what is right, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Micah 6:8
