Faith Christian School sports teams are known as “The Falcons”. Our athletic program believes that players and coaches should bring honor to Christ in all they do, both on and off the field. FCS athletics emphasize competing with integrity and representing well our Lord Jesus Christ. Faith Christian expects its sports teams to live up to the Falcon name, respecting teammates, coaches, officials, and opponents. Winning is encouraged, but FCS understands that neither the school nor the student-athletes are defined by a scoreboard. The motto that Faith Christian has embraced for its sports program encapsulates the heart of Falcon athletics: All for Him.
FCS athletes compete in basketball, soccer, and volleyball. FCS is a part of the Northern Illinois Christian Conference (NICC) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) athletics.
The Athletic Booster Club provides spirited support and is a major source of financial backing for Falcon sports. Monies raised through the Booster Club have purchased uniforms, equipment, and other needed gear for Athletics.

Faith Christian School Spring Sports COVID Protocols
Spectators – Masks will be required for all spectators at all times except when eating. Spectators are limited to 2 spectators per player maximum. We ask the 2 spectators to only come for the timeframe that your player is playing and then leave after your player is finished playing. This will allow everyone to have spectators watch them and keep us within the guidelines set before us.
This guideline is for all home and away games this spring indoors. This applies to Soccer at Westwood as well. 2 Spectator limit and masks are required.
Exception: Soccer outdoors will not have this limit or mask requirement.
Players are being asked to wear masks when they are not on the court indoors as well.
Admissions – When you come into games at Faith this spring, at the admissions table along with paying to get in, everyone will need to sign-in before entering the gym.
Concessions – Concessions will be available for purchase but will be limited to simple grab-and-go drink and snack items. We will not be serving hot foods at this time.
Transportation of players:
- We encourage parents to transport their players as much as possible.
- If they are unable, we ask that they do their best to make arrangements for their player to ride with someone else.
- If you do not know anyone or cannot get a ride figured for your child, contact the coach, and the coach can help assist in finding someone to take that player.
- Masks should be worn when carpooling unless both parties are okay with no masks.
- Be sure to communicate about the ride for both directions, to the game, and home from the game.
