Jodi Kielsmeier was born in Rockford, IL, the oldest of four children. She was raised in Byron, IL, in a loving Christian home. Graduating from Trinity College in Deerfield, IL, “Miss Snodgrass” took a job at Faith Christian School in 1985 when she also married Ken Kielsmeier and became “Mrs. K.” Several years later, Mrs. Kielsmeier stayed home with three daughters until they were all in school at FCS in 1996. Ever since returning to the classroom that year, Mrs. K. has been primarily teaching classes of 5th and 6th graders. Her classes now focus on Bible, Science, and language arts.
Outside of school, Mrs. Kielsmeier coaches and referees volleyball, gardens, hikes and camps nature lands, and enjoys precious time with her nine grandchildren. She is passionate about passing on the truth of Jesus to the next generations giving them a firm foundation on which to build their lives.
“It was he [Christ] who gave some to be…teachers to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.” Eph 4:11-12
